Crazy Go Nuts Walnut Butter - Plain w/ Sea Salt - Healthy Snacks

In late 2013, Crazy Go Nuts was started by co-founders Courtney Carini and David Wolfe with 32 burlap sacks of uncracked walnuts, inspired by an email from Courtney's father about the 1200 pounds of walnuts he had picked on his Lake County, CA farm. They decided to expand upon a family recipe and created six more recipes, leading to the beginnings of Crazy Go Nuts. Walnuts are known for being a superfood, containing high levels of omega-3s and antioxidants, among other health benefits.

The walnuts are neither raw nor roasted. Instead, they are steam pasteurized at 200 degrees F for 9 minutes. While it is possible to refrigerate or freeze the products to extend shelf life, it is not necessary as long as they are stored in a cool, dark place.

Crazy Go Nuts offers a variety of flavored walnut snacks, including creamy walnut butter spreads. The Plain Walnut Butter w/Sea Salt is a slightly salty nut butter spread made with only walnuts and sea salt. It has a thick and smooth texture, containing 2 net carbs per serving. All products are all-natural with no added colors, preservatives, corn-syrup, or flavorings.

In addition to Plain Walnut Butter w/Sea Salt, the walnut butters are available in Banana, Oatmeal Cookie, Maple, Chocolate Brownie, Coconut, and Chocolate Espresso flavors. These English walnuts are sourced from California and are made in the company's own manufacturing facility, with no processing of other nuts besides coconut for the coconut-flavored walnut products.
